Queued Rides

You may get a new ride request while you’re giving a ride. This ride will be added to your queue, and you’ll complete the ride after you finish your current one.

How queued rides work
By default, when you get a queued ride request, you’ll have 15 seconds to decline. After 15 seconds, the ride will be automatically accepted and added to your queue.
You can choose if you’d like these requests to be auto-accepted or manually accepted:
  1. Tap the ‘Driving Preferences icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your Driver App.
  2. Tap ‘Queued Rides’
  3. Select ‘Auto-accept’ or ‘Manual-accept’.
Note: Auto-accept is selected by default. If you select ‘manual-accept’  you can choose to accept or decline queued ride requests within a brief notification window. After several seconds, the ride will be automatically declined.
How to indicate your last ride
If you don't want to accept any more rides:
  1. Swipe up on the bottom panel.
  2. Tap 'Ride requests on' to stop getting ride requests.
  3. If you change your mind, tap 'Ride requests off' to turn them back on again.
We won't add more rides after you drop off your last passenger and also sign you off.
How to contact future passengers
The ride overview shows details of the next route’s queued passengers in addition to the current passenger’s drop-off. You'll see each requesting passenger's photo and see the option to call them.
Canceling a ride in your queue
When ‘auto-accept’ is turned on for queued rides, you are not penalized for canceling a ride after it has been added to your queue.
To decline a queued ride while still in your current ride:
  1. Swipe up on the bottom panel.
  2. Tap ‘Decline.’
  3. Follow the prompts to cancel your upcoming ride.
This won't affect your acceptance rate.
When ‘manual accept’ is turned on for queued rides, you are penalized if you cancel a ride you’ve already accepted, but you will not be penalized for declining ride requests.
Note: Changing your queued ride settings won't affect delivery rides.
