In-app recording of rides
With in-app recording, you can record rides if you feel uncomfortable. These recordings can be shared with the Lyft Safety Team if you need to create a safety report.
Both riders and drivers can record audio and select drivers can record video of rides. If you opt-in to scheduled recording, we’ll let riders know that recording may happen during the ride.
Recording is not available in Canada at this time.
