Lyft Rewards is a driver program that recognizes you for driving with Lyft and rewards you for your earnings during busy hours.
We'll let you know when Lyft Rewards is available to you. Right now, it’s only available to some drivers. You’ll be able to start earning points as soon as the program is available to you.
With Lyft Rewards, you’ll get points for every eligible dollar you make during busy hours. Points you earn unlock tiers (Silver, Gold, and Platinum), and for every tier you reach, you’ll have access to big rewards.
Once you reach a tier, you'll stay in it for the rest of the current qualifying period and the next qualifying period - as long as you continue to meet eligibility requirements. You're required to meet a minimum driving score or driver rating, depending on your region.
Designated busy hours and the number of points needed to qualify for each tier will vary by market. Go to the ‘Feedback and Rewards’ tab in your app and tap ‘Lyft Rewards’ for details on how Lyft Rewards works for you. You'll also be able to see which rewards are available in your region.
Drivers will earn 1 point per dollar for driving during busy hours. Points earned on tips are separate from points earned on other ride earnings, but they’re calculated the same way.

Earnings eligible for points
Drivers earn 1 point per eligible dollar for driving during busy hours. For rides accepted or dropped off during a busy hour, you earn points on:
You don’t earn points on other types of earnings, which include:
Earnings from rides not accepted or dropped off during busy hours
Ride bonuses, such as Streak bonuses
Other bonuses, earnings, and fees
Visit the ‘Feedback and Rewards’ tab in your Lyft Driver app menu, and tap ‘Lyft Rewards’ to see busy hours in your area.
About your driver rating or driving score
Along with earning points by driving during busy hours, you'll need to keep your driver rating or driving score high to unlock tiers.
In regions with driver rating requirement, drivers must have a rating of 4.90 or higher to unlock Gold and Platinum tiers.
You won’t lose your Gold or Platinum status during the period you achieved it, unless your rating falls lower than 4.80.
In regions with a driving score requirement, a driving score of 60% unlocks Silver. A score of 80% is required to unlock the Gold and Platinum tiers.
When you've reached Silver, you won't lose your tier status within a qualifying period unless your score falls below 55%.
For the Gold and Platinum tiers, you won't lose your status unless your score falls below 75% within a qualifying period.

Qualification periods begin on the first and end on the last calendar day of each month.
Qualifying period 1: January 1 - January 31
Qualifying period 2: February 1 - February 28 or February 29, if applicable.
The points you earn during a qualifying period help you unlock tiers. For every tier you reach, you’ll gain access to rewards. Points reset at the beginning of each qualifying period. Once you reach a tier, you’ll keep your status for the rest of the current qualifying period and the next period afterwards. You’ll only lose your tier status if you don’t meet the eligibility requirements (either the minimum required driving score or rating depending on your region).
Lyft Rewards has three tiers: Silver, Gold, and Platinum. As you earn qualifying points, you also make progress toward unlocking the next tier. The number of qualifying points you need to unlock each tier is based on your region. In some regions, you will also need to meet a rating or driving score requirement to unlock tiers. View your progress in the Lyft Driver app menu under ‘Feedback and Rewards’ and tap ‘Lyft Rewards.’

One more use of Destination Mode each day.
The ability to see the direction and length of a ride before you accept it. You'll need to maintain an acceptance rate of at least 90% in all regions except California to take advantage of this benefit.
To see your current acceptance rate, tap 'See trip info before accepting a ride' from the Gold Rewards details in your app.
Access to Preferred rides in select regions. This means more rides and a bonus for every Preferred ride given (for a limited time). Drivers have to meet additional eligibility criteria to gain access to Preferred rides:

An additional use of Destination Mode a day
In select regions, access to Priority Mode - for priority access to nearby ride requests
Additional savings on TurboTax Self-Employed
Streak bonuses: You may qualify for up to two prorated bonuses for partially completed streaks every 30 days. Other limits apply.
Openbay discounts and credits
Through Lyft Rewards, you can also access discounted pricing on common vehicle services using the vehicle service marketplace, Openbay.
Some Lyft Rewards drivers can also redeem their rewards points for credits with Openbay.

Roadside assistance with Allstate
You can take advantage of Allstate roadside services when you need emergency roadside assistance for your vehicle.
Discounted rates only apply to Lyft-approved vehicles. Personal vehicles that aren't approved to drive with Lyft aren't eligible.
Save an average of 20% (based on national roadside assistance averages) with our pre-negotiated flat rates.
Lyft will cover base roadside assistance services from Allstate.
You can request up to 3 services within a period. There are four Lyft Rewards periods each year:
Feb. 1 - April 30
May 1 - July 31
Aug. 1 - Oct. 31
Nov. 1 - Jan. 31
Once you've requested 3 services, you can still use Allstate but will have to pay the pre-negotiated flat rates.
