Women+ Connect for riders
Women+ Connect offers women and non-binary drivers a preference that helps them match more often with women and non-binary riders.
We want to help encourage women drivers to take the wheel and feel confident when they drive with Lyft.

How do I turn it on or off?
You can make changes at any time on the Women+ Connect page found in your account (You). There, you can select when you prefer to ride with a Women+ driver and how long we should look for one.
To turn off the feature, select 'No preference (opt-out)' under 'Ride types.'
Who has access to Women+ Connect?
Women+ Connect is currently only available to women and non-binary riders. If you identify as a woman or non-binary and need to update your gender, visit your profile and tap ‘Gender’. Please note that the submission of untrue information may lead to account suspension or deactivation.
What does nonbinary mean?
“Nonbinary” refers to people who identify outside of the “binary” genders, man or woman.
Will I still be matched with men?
Yes, it’s possible. When Women+ Connect is turned on, we’ll do our best to match women and non-binary drivers and riders. However, in order to help you always get a ride there are times where you’ll be matched with men.
