    Scheduled rides for riders

    In some regions, Lyft offers scheduled rides for standard, XL, Lux, Lux Black, and Lux Black XL ride modes. Plan ahead by scheduling a ride up to 7 days ahead of time.
    Scheduled rides are:
    • Not always available.
    • Not available in all regions.
    • May not be available for all ride modes in a region.
    When they are available, you will see a small 'Schedule' option on the ride mode selection screen.

    Scheduling a ride

    When you schedule a ride, you must specify a pickup window. You can schedule a ride up to 7 days ahead of time.
    1. Set your destination.
    2. Tap 'Schedule' on the ride mode selection screen.
    3. Set your pickup address.
    4. Choose a date and time and tap 'Set pick up time.'
    5. Confirm your pickup and drop-off location, then tap 'Schedule.'
    You’ll get a reminder before your pickup.
    We’ll make your ride available to drivers in the area. We can't guarantee a driver will be available in your area at the specific time the ride is being requested for.

    Cancelling a scheduled ride

    To cancel a scheduled ride:
    1. Tap the calendar icon that appears in the right corner.
    2. Tap the scheduled ride you want to cancel.
    3. Tap 'Cancel ride' below the details.
    4. Tap 'Confirm.'
    You can cancel a scheduled ride at any time, but Lyft's normal cancellation fee policy applies if:
    • You cancel the ride after a driver has been matched.
    • The driver is on their way to pick you up.
    • The driver is scheduled to arrive within the designated pickup window.
