Giving Rides at Denver Hot Spots

Follow the rules below in order to provide smooth rides at Pepsi Center and Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Denver, CO.

Waiting for requests

  • Wait in the designated staging area. Only drivers within the designated staging area are added to the queue.

    We recommend approaching the staging area from 64th and Prairie Parkway, heading east on Prairie and taking a right on Trenton (see arrows in map above).

  • The queue is first in-first out. The driver who has been waiting within the staging area in driver mode the longest gets the next request. Your physical location within the staging area does not affect your spot in the queue, but if you exit the staging area or log out of driver mode, you will lose your spot.
  • If the staging area is full, you must leave the lot. You may not wait for requests anywhere else on property or use any other parking lots while in driver mode.
  • Passenger cancellations don't affect your place in line. If your passenger cancels on you, head back to the staging area. As long as you're back within 5 minutes, you'll be placed at the front of the queue.
  • Driver cancellations and missed requests do affect your place in line. If you are the one to cancel a request, or if you miss a request, you're placed at the back of the queue.

    Enter the staging area from Little Raven. You can take 15th to Little Raven, go West on Little Raven, and the lot will be on your left after you cross the Speer underpass.

Pickups

Head to the Lyft Driver lot, off Little Raven. This lot is exclusive for Lyft driver staging only. Passengers will request rides from Chopper Circle, and drivers will depart the staging lot and head East on Elitch Circle, South on Speer, then back West on Chopper Circle.

Drop-offs

Upon arrival, be sure to follow the instructions of the Authorized Personnel to drop-off passengers in the proper loading areas. Pro-tip: Look for the Lyft flag outside of Breckenridge Brewery for easiest drop-off.

Display your pink Lyft emblem on the passenger side of your front windshield whenever giving Lyft rides.

Review Denver Requirements

When giving Lyft rides in Denver, you should always have the following:

  • Lyft Emblem
  • Vehicle Inspection Form (keep in your glovebox)
  • TNC Medical Certificate
