Hard-of-Hearing Driver Features

If you’re a deaf or hard-of-hearing driver, you can enable the following features:

  1. Pre-ride passenger notification: Before a ride, Lyft will let passengers know to contact you by text rather than by phone. 
  2. Visual ride request alerts through the Amp: If Amp is in your region, Lyft will send ride request alerts to your Amp in addition to normal ride notifications.
  • To turn the features on, use the Opt-In Google Form. It will be 24-48 hours until the features are active.
  • To turn the features off again, use the Opt-Out Google Form. It will be 24-48 hours until the features are turned off.

Note: When filling out the Google Form, use the email associated with your Lyft account.
