My driver's car photo doesn't match

As a passenger, it's important you know which vehicle to look for when requesting a ride.

The image in the app is an icon matching the make, model, year, and color of your driver's vehicle. These icons are assigned based on drivers' Lyft profiles (including the vehicle paperwork), but aren't photographs.

If your driver's car icon is wrong

If you notice the vehicle icon is significantly different from the vehicle your driver arrives with, contact us by tapping 'Contact Support' below.

Let us know what the specific difference is ("The app shows a silver car but driver's car was blue"), and we'll investigate.

To ensure a quick response, select the dropdown options in this order: 'I'm a passenger,' 'Something happened during my ride,' 'Unsafe car condition,' then 'Different car than photo in app.'
