Drivers use their personal vehicles to drive other Lyft passengers as well as their family and friends so it's important that they keep their car in great condition.
How will I be notified about a damage fee?
Our team will send an email before the damage fee is applied to your credit card. This email will provide info about the ride as well as photos of the damages.
You'll get an updated receipt after the damage fee has been charged. You can also check out details in the 'Ride history' tab of the Lyft app. Any damage fees incurred will display under that ride.
