    Lyft Pink

    A Lyft Pink membership gives you member-exclusive perks and pricing. Lyft Pink plans start at $9.99/month ($99/year).
    You can also upgrade to our Lyft Pink All Access plan for $199/year. You get all the perks of Lyft Pink, with even more bike and scooter benefits to help you get around cities across the US.
    Most Lyft Pink members can switch plans by going to the ‘Manage plan’ page in the Lyft Pink tab. If you don’t see the option to switch, you can also change plans by cancelling your current membership, then signing up for one of the new plans.
    To switch your plan:
    1. Open your Lyft app, then open the main menu.
    2. Tap 'Lyft Pink.'
    3. Tap 'Manage plan.'
    Note: If you got a Lyft Pink membership through either your Chase Sapphire Reserve or J.P. Morgan Reserve card by March 31, 2022, you’ll keep your benefits until your free year finishes.
    Chase Sapphire Reserve or J.P. Morgan Reserve card members can’t switch their Lyft Pink plan at this time.

    Lyft Pink is $9.99/month or $99/year.

    Lyft Pink All Access

    Lyft Pink All Access is $199/year.
    You’ll get the same benefits as the Lyft Pink plan:
    • Free Priority Pickup upgrades
    • Member-exclusive pricing
    • Relaxed ride cancellations and lost & found fees
    • Free Grubhub+ membership
    • Roadside assistance up to 4 times a year
    • Free SIXT car rental upgrades
    Plus:
    • Unlimited 45-min classic bike rides
    • Unlimited ebike and scooter unlocks
    • Discounted ebike and scooter rates
    • 3 bike or scooter guest passes per year
    • Access to the Bike Angels rewards program, where available
    Note: Roadside assistance and reimbursements aren’t available in Nevada.

    Additional details

    Lyft Pink is only available for personal rides—it doesn’t apply to business profile rides.
    Your plan will auto-renew either monthly or annually until you cancel, depending on your plan. Prices may change upon notice and benefits are subject to change.
    We'll charge the payment method you added in your Lyft app.
    The following payment methods aren’t accepted for recurring membership fees:
    • Apple pay
    • Google Pay
    • Commuter benefits
    • Venmo
    • PayPal
    • Prepaid cards (including gift cards)
    You can still use the payment methods listed above to pay for rides.
    According to state and local laws, Lyft has to collect sales taxes in certain regions. The charged amount depends on local regulations and the payment method's billing address.

    Lyft Pink benefits

    Free Priority Pickup upgrades

    Free Priority Pickup upgrades means you’ll get faster pickups at no extra cost.
    Note: Priority Pickup upgrades may not always be available.
    If a Priority Pickup isn’t available, you’ll get member-exclusive pricing on your Standard ride. If you got Lyft Pink through a Chase Sapphire Reserve or J.P. Morgan Reserve card, you get a 15% discount on rides instead of free Priority Pickup upgrades and member-exclusive pricing.

    Free Grubhub+ membership

    As a Lyft Pink member, you’ll get a free Grubhub+ membership.
    You can order pickup or delivery from nearby restaurants through Grubhub's online food delivery marketplace.
    Note: $0 delivery applicable on orders with a $12+ subtotal (before tax, tip, and fees) from Grubhub+ eligible restaurants only. Additional fees (including a service fee) may apply and vary on orders. Subject to Grubhub terms.
    To activate your Grubhub+ account:
    1. Open the app’s main menu, then tap ‘Lyft Pink.’
    2. Tap ‘See more,’ then tap ‘Free Grubhub+ membership.’
    3. Follow the instructions for activating your membership.

    Roadside assistance

    Lyft Pink offers roadside assistance and reimbursement for your vehicle.
    These benefits renew at the start of each membership year. You can view your billing date by tapping ‘Lyft Pink,’ then ‘Manage Plan’ in your Lyft app.
    Note: Roadside assistance and reimbursements aren’t available in Nevada.
    This benefit isn’t currently available for members who got Lyft Pink through Chase Sapphire Reserve or J.P. Morgan Reserve.
    Roadside assistance services
    Lyft Pink members enjoy roadside assistance when they add their car in the Lyft app. You can request roadside help right from the app, whether you’re in your car or someone else’s. You must be present with the vehicle to request roadside assistance.
    Monthly and annual members can use their free roadside assistance 4 times per year.
    Available services include:
    • 1 tow up to 200 miles or 3 tows up to 100 miles
    • Winch (pulling the car back onto the road)
    • Jump-start
    • Car lockout
    • Delivery of two gallons of fuel
    Your membership doesn’t cover friends or family if you’re not in the vehicle.
    To request roadside assistance, open your Lyft app then:
    1. Open the main menu, then tap ‘My car.’
    2. Tap ‘Roadside.’
    3. Follow instructions.
    Reimbursement
    As a Lyft Pink member, you can get reimbursed for each of these services once per year:
    • Home lockout (up to $150)
    • Single day car rental (non-collision)
    • Car key replacement (up to $150)
    • Battery replacement credit (up to $25)
    Submit your contact information and details about your service in the Lyft Roadside Assistance reimbursement portal.
    You don’t need to submit reimbursement for other services, like towing. The Pink benefit applies automatically.

    Lyft Rentals upgrades

    When you rent with SIXT, you can upgrade to a higher-class vehicle in the 30-minute window before pickup (as long as one is available).
    To claim your upgrade:
    1. Open the Lyft app 30 minutes before your pickup time.
    2. Tap the Rentals key icon in the lower-right corner of the home screen.
    3. Tap ‘Select Car.’
    4. You’ll see your upgrade options if an upgrade is available. Tap to select your preferred vehicle.
    5. Tap ‘Confirm.’
    Free vehicle upgrades are subject to availability and rider eligibility. Subject to SIXT terms.
    This benefit only applies to rentals provided by SIXT. Rentals provided by Lyft are excluded from this offer.

    Relaxed ride cancellations

    If you cancel a ride, we’ll credit you the cancellation fee up to 3 times a month. To get the credit, you must rebook the ride within 15 minutes of cancelling.
    You’ll still see a cancellation fee on your bank statement. Once you finish the rebooked ride, the refund will be applied to your Lyft Account as a $5 ride credit. Your driver will still receive payment for the fee.
    Lyft may still charge a no-show fee if you’re not at the pickup location when your driver arrives.

    Free lost & found fees

    Lyft will automatically waive the lost item fee after you report a lost item. This perk has unlimited uses.

    Bike and scooter discounts

    In eligible regions, Lyft Pink members get free and discounted bike, ebike, and scooter rides.
    Note: If you got a Lyft Pink membership through either your Chase Sapphire Reserve or J.P. Morgan Reserve card by March 31, 2022, you’ll keep your benefits until your free year finishes.
    Lyft Pink discounts
    Monthly Lyft Pink members receive:
    • 1 free bike or scooter unlock per month.
    Annual Lyft Pink members receive:
    • 12 free bike or scooter unlocks per year.
    Annual members can use their bike and scooter benefits at any time. You can check your available bike and scooter benefits by tapping ‘Lyft Pink’ in the app’s main menu.
    Lyft Pink All Access discounts
    Lyft Pink All Access members in eligible regions receive:
    • Unlimited free 45-min classic bike rides
    • Unlimited free ebike and scooter unlocks
    • Discounted ebike and Lyft scooter rates
    • 3 bike or scooter guest passes per year
    • Access to the Bike Angels rewards program, where offered

    • Santa Monica, CA
    Bluebikes (Boston, MA) and Capital Bikeshare (Washington DC) don’t qualify for any Lyft Pink discounts.
    Eligible cities for Lyft scooter discounts:
    • Denver, CO
    • Los Angeles, CA
    • Minneapolis, MN
    • San Diego, CA
    • Washington DC
    Spin scooters are not eligible for this perk.

    How to join

    Lyft Pink is available to US riders.
    To join, go to the ‘Lyft Pink’ tab in your Lyft app and tap ‘Select a plan.’
    The following payment methods aren't eligible for a Lyft Pink subscription:
    • Prepaid cards
    • Gift cards
    • Commuter benefit cards
    • Digital wallets:
      • Apple Pay
      • Google Pay
      • Venmo
      • PayPal
    Your plan will auto-renew every month or year, depending on your plan type. We'll charge the default payment method in your Lyft app.

    Pause or cancel your membership

    To pause or cancel your Lyft Pink membership in the app:
    1. Open the app menu and tap ‘Lyft Pink.’
    2. Tap ‘Manage Plan.’
    3. Select from the options to pause, change, or cancel your membership.
    Information about pausing your membership:
    You can pause your membership for up to 28 days at a time.
    • Monthly members can pause once per billing cycle.
    • Annual members can pause up to twice a year.
    Here’s some important info for pausing your membership:
    • Once you pause your membership, you’ll have to select a future date to un-pause.
    • Pausing membership changes your billing cycle or annual renewal date. For example, if you pause your membership for 10 days, it pushes your billing date back 10 days.
    • You can view your billing date in the Lyft app by tapping ‘Lyft Pink’ in the main menu, then ‘Manage Plan.’

    Upgrading to annual

    If you have a monthly membership, you can upgrade to an annual membership directly through your Lyft app.
    To upgrade your monthly membership to annual through your Lyft app:
    1. Go to ‘Lyft Pink’ in the menu.
    2. Tap ‘Upgrade to annual.’
    When you upgrade, you’ll be charged $99 (plus tax where required). In addition, the unused portion of your monthly membership fee will be refunded to the payment method on file.
