    To ensure a smooth airport experience for you and your passengers, make sure to familiarize yourself with the rules below. Tap each link to jump to detailed instructions on each section:

    The following information applies to all airports:

    Lyft emblem
    • Mantén tu emblema de Lyft visible en todo momento mientras haces viajes de Lyft.
    • If you are giving a non-Lyft ride at the airport, make sure to remove your emblem before entering airport property.
    • If you’ve just been approved to drive, you should receive your Lyft emblem shortly. If you didn't get one or need a new one, order one in your Dashboard. While waiting for it to arrive, you may print a temporary emblem.
    Conduct at the airport
    • No pares ni estaciones en los cruces peatonales.
    • Do not park in red zones or taxi/shuttle areas unless otherwise specified in the rules above.
    • Always follow instructions given by airport personnel.

    Permitted Airports

    Lyft está disponible en los siguientes aeropuertos de Georgia. Es responsabilidad de los conductores de la plataforma Lyft conocer y seguir todas las reglas del aeropuerto para evitar recibir citaciones administrativas.

    Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL)
    Vigente al 01/01/2021: Como conductor de Lyft, solo puedes recoger pasajeros en el aeropuerto ATL si tu vehículo es modelo 2014 o más reciente, y cuentas con el tarjetón de aeropuerto color verde azulado 2021. Si tu vehículo es modelo 2013 o anterior, puedes seguir dejando pasajeros en ATL como de costumbre; simplemente, no entres en el área de espera del aeropuerto ni en la fila de partida para no recoger pasajeros en el aeropuerto y correr el riesgo de que se desactive tu cuenta.
    ATL Airport will issue citations to drivers who do not follow these rules. You are responsible for paying any tickets you receive for violating airport rules and regulations.
    Waiting for requests:
    • Wait in the designated staging area. TNC drivers will only be added to the queue once they are in the designated rideshare TNC staging area (1586 Sullivan Rd, College Park, GA 30337).
    • Black Car Drivers in vehicles with limousine or livery plates will only be added to the queue once they are in the designated Black Car staging area. Open your Lyft app once you are at the airport to see the geofenced waiting area where you’ll be able to join the queue to give a ride.
      • Keep in mind that vehicles with limousine or livery plates are not allowed to wait in the rideshare assembly lot on Sullivan Road. Entering this lot in a vehicle with limousine or livery plates could result in fines from the airport. 
    • Beginning 6/11/2018, the staging area will be closed daily from 3am - 4am so that it can be cleaned. Please vacate the staging area during this time so that airport staff has the space to clean the lot.
    • The queue is first in-first out. The driver who has been waiting within the staging area in driver mode the longest gets the next request. Your physical location within the staging area does not affect your spot in the queue, but if you exit the staging area or log out of driver mode, you will lose your spot.
    • If the staging area is full, you must leave the airport. You may not wait for requests anywhere else on airport property or use any other parking lots while in driver mode.

    Pickups:
    • Domestic Terminal: All designated Rideshare pickup areas are at North and South Economy Lots. Enter through far left lane for the North Lot. Enter through far right lane for the South Lot.
      • Beginning 12/22/18, the pickup area for the North Lot will move to a designated pickup lane west of the parking garage (previously north).
      • You must have your airport hangtag visibly displayed on rearview mirror prior to entering lot.
      • When entering the lot, press red button and pull a parking ticket.
      • Once you enter the lot, you must proceed to the designated Rideshare pickup area. The pickup area is active loading only — no parking.
      • Once you have picked up your passenger, proceed to exit through a “Credit Card/Prepaid Ticket” lane.
      • Credit cards are the only accepted form of payment at “Credit Card/Prepaid Ticket” lanes.

      • If your parking ticket is lost or damaged, you must utilize a Cashier lane.
    • International Terminal: Pick up passengers from Arrivals.
    • Do not pick up passengers at the Domestic Terminal curbside terminal entrance.

    • Pre-dispatch: While waiting for requests, you may receive an SMS and an in-app note directing you to head towards the terminal. While en route or within 10 minutes of arriving at the Lyft designated pick up area, you should receive a ride request. If you do not, head back to the staging area. As long as you're back within 15 minutes, you'll be placed at the front of the queue. More information on pre-dispatch can be found here.
    • Personal Power Zones are a way to earn more as a driver by finding high demand areas and scoring a bonus on your next ride. You may see a Personal Power Zone while operating at ATL airport. As a reminder, if a ride lapses or a pre-dispatch ride request is cancelled on the driver side, potential Personal Power Zone earnings reset to zero.
    • Short ride bump: If you receive a request for a short ride from the airport after waiting in the queue, you may qualify for a higher queue position after you drop off your passenger. You'll receive an SMS after dropping off to let you know you have the option to return to the staging area for a preferred spot in the queue. Please note, if you give a ride before returning to the staging area, you may still qualify for a preferred spot in line.
    Drop-offs:
    • Drop off passengers at Departures, at your passenger’s carrier of choice.

    Airport Placard
    • In addition to your Lyft emblem, you are required to display an airport placard in your vehicle when giving rides at ATL airport.
    • In order to receive your ATL Placard, your vehicle age must be 2013 or newer. If you've just been approved to drive, you should receive your placard shortly.

    Augusta Regional Airport (AGS)
    Waiting for requests:

Your physical location within the staging area does not affect your spot in the queue, but if you exit the staging area or log out of driver mode, you will lose your spot.
    • If the staging area is full, you must leave the airport. You may not wait for requests anywhere else on airport property or use any other parking lots while in driver mode.

You'll receive a message after dropping off to let you know you have the option to return to the staging area for a preferred spot in the queue. Please note, if you give a ride before returning to the staging area, you may still qualify for a preferred spot in line.
    Drop-offs:

    Valdosta Regional Airport (VLD)
    Waiting for requests:
    • Wait in the designated staging area pictured above. Only drivers within the designated staging area (pictured above) are added to the queue.
    • The queue is first in-first out. The driver who has been waiting within the staging area in driver mode the longest gets the next request. Your physical location within the staging area does not affect your spot in the queue, but if you exit the staging area or log out of driver mode, you will lose your spot.
    • If the staging area is full, you must leave the airport. You may not wait for requests anywhere else on airport property or use any other parking lots while in driver mode.
