    The following information applies to all airports:

    Lyft emblem
    • Keep your Lyft emblem displayed and visible at all times while giving Lyft rides.

    Conduct at the airport

    • Do not park in red zones or taxi/shuttle areas unless otherwise specified in the rules above.

    Permitted Airports

    Lyft is available at the following airports in Georgia. Drivers on the Lyft platform are responsible for knowing and following all airport regulations in order to avoid receiving administrative citations from the airport.

    Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL)
    A partir de 01/01/2021: como motorista do Lyft, você só terá permissão para pegar passageiros no aeroporto ATL se seu veículo for ano 2014 ou mais novo, e se tiver a placa de aeroporto ano 2021 de cor magenta.     ATL Airport will issue citations to drivers who do not follow these rules. You are responsible for paying any tickets you receive for violating airport rules and regulations.
    Onde aguardar solicitações:
    • Wait in the designated staging area. TNC drivers will only be added to the queue once they are in the designated rideshare TNC staging area (1586 Sullivan Rd, College Park, GA 30337).
    • Black Car Drivers in vehicles with limousine or livery plates will only be added to the queue once they are in the designated Black Car staging area. Open your Lyft app once you are at the airport to see the geofenced waiting area where you’ll be able to join the queue to give a ride.
      • Keep in mind that vehicles with limousine or livery plates are not allowed to wait in the rideshare assembly lot on Sullivan Road. Entering this lot in a vehicle with limousine or livery plates could result in fines from the airport. 
    • Beginning 6/11/2018, the staging area will be closed daily from 3am - 4am so that it can be cleaned. Please vacate the staging area during this time so that airport staff has the space to clean the lot.
    • The queue is first in-first out. The driver who has been waiting within the staging area in driver mode the longest gets the next request. Your physical location within the staging area does not affect your spot in the queue, but if you exit the staging area or log out of driver mode, you will lose your spot.
    • If the staging area is full, you must leave the airport. You may not wait for requests anywhere else on airport property or use any other parking lots while in driver mode.
    • Passenger cancellations don't affect your place in line. If your passenger cancels on you, head back to the staging area. As long as you're back within 15 minutes, you'll be placed at the front of the queue.
    • Driver cancellations and missed requests do affect your place in line. If you are the one to cancel a request, or if you miss a request, you're placed at the back of the queue.

    Pontos de encontro:
    • Domestic Terminal: All designated Rideshare pickup areas are at North and South Economy Lots. Enter through far left lane for the North Lot. Enter through far right lane for the South Lot.
      • Beginning 12/22/18, the pickup area for the North Lot will move to a designated pickup lane west of the parking garage (previously north).
      • You must have your airport hangtag visibly displayed on rearview mirror prior to entering lot.
      • When entering the lot, press red button and pull a parking ticket.
      • Once you enter the lot, you must proceed to the designated Rideshare pickup area. The pickup area is active loading only — no parking.
      • Once you have picked up your passenger, proceed to exit through a “Credit Card/Prepaid Ticket” lane.
      • Credit cards are the only accepted form of payment at “Credit Card/Prepaid Ticket” lanes.

      • If your parking ticket is lost or damaged, you must utilize a Cashier lane.
    • International Terminal: Pick up passengers from Arrivals.
    • Do not pick up passengers at the Domestic Terminal curbside terminal entrance.
    • Do not wait or circle back at the airport if the passenger is delayed when picking up. Head to the Staging Lot and wait there.
    • Pre-dispatch: While waiting for requests, you may receive an SMS and an in-app note directing you to head towards the terminal. While en route or within 10 minutes of arriving at the Lyft designated pick up area, you should receive a ride request. If you do not, head back to the staging area. As long as you're back within 15 minutes, you'll be placed at the front of the queue. More information on pre-dispatch can be found here.
    • Personal Power Zones are a way to earn more as a driver by finding high demand areas and scoring a bonus on your next ride. You may see a Personal Power Zone while operating at ATL airport. As a reminder, if a ride lapses or a pre-dispatch ride request is cancelled on the driver side, potential Personal Power Zone earnings reset to zero.
    • Short ride bump: If you receive a request for a short ride from the airport after waiting in the queue, you may qualify for a higher queue position after you drop off your passenger. You'll receive an SMS after dropping off to let you know you have the option to return to the staging area for a preferred spot in the queue. Please note, if you give a ride before returning to the staging area, you may still qualify for a preferred spot in line.
    Desembarques:
    • Drop off passengers at Departures, at your passenger’s carrier of choice.
    • Do not wait at the airport terminal after drop-off. Instead, proceed to the Staging Lot.
    Airport Placard
    • In addition to your Lyft emblem, you are required to display an airport placard in your vehicle when giving rides at ATL airport.
    • In order to receive your ATL Placard, your vehicle age must be 2014 or newer. If you've just been approved to drive, you should receive your placard shortly.

    • If the staging area is full, you must leave the airport. You may not wait for requests anywhere else on airport property or use any other parking lots while in driver mode.
    • Passenger cancellations don't affect your place in line. If your passenger cancels on you, head back to the staging area. As long as you're back within 15 minutes, you'll be placed at the front of the queue.

    Pickups:
    • Pick up passengers from the passenger loading area in the lot north of the terminal.
    • Do not wait or circle back at the airport if the passenger is delayed when picking up. Instead, head to the staging area.
    • As a reminder, you may not pass out referral cards or promotional materials while on airport property.
    • Short ride bump: If you receive a request for a short ride from the airport after waiting in the queue, you may qualify for a higher queue position after you drop off your passenger. You'll receive a message after dropping off to let you know you have the option to return to the staging area for a preferred spot in the queue. Please note, if you give a ride before returning to the staging area, you may still qualify for a preferred spot in line.
    Desembarques:
    • Drop off passengers curbside at the terminal entrance, at your passenger’s carrier of choice.
    • Do not wait at the airport terminal after drop-off. If you'd like to accept additional requests, head to the staging area.
    • As soon as you've dropped off your passenger, press 'Tap to drop off' in your app and exit airport property. Wait to rate your passenger until you've left the airport.
    Valdosta Regional Airport (VLD)

    • The queue is first in-first out. The driver who has been waiting within the staging area in driver mode the longest gets the next request.     • If the staging area is full, you must leave the airport. You may not wait for requests anywhere else on airport property or use any other parking lots while in driver mode.
