Lyft Cash Rewards

Lyft Cash Rewards is a program that offers benefits like Lyft Cash back, Extra Comfort upgrades, and cancel credits when you set up Lyft Cash auto refill.
The program is only available in the US to select riders and applies to all rides except Wait & Save and Bikes & Scooters. Rides booked with a Business profile aren't eligible.

How it works
To access benefits, you must select one of the tier amounts for your account, enable the "auto refill" feature and pay for eligible rides with Lyft Cash.
Tier details:
  • $25 refill - 2% Lyft Cash back on eligible rides
  • $50 refill - 4% Lyft Cash back on eligible rides and 2 cancel credits per month
  • $100 refill - 5% Lyft Cash back on eligible rides, 2 Extra Comfort upgrades per month and 2 cancel credits per month
Your chosen refill amount will be automatically charged to your payment method once you sign up for the program and when your Lyft Cash balance drops below $15. Lyft Cash will be set as your default payment method.
You can change your tier amount at any time or opt out of the program by turning off the auto refill option in your Lyft app.

How to enroll
To enroll in the Lyft Cash Rewards program:
  1. Go to the ‘Payment’ section of your Lyft app
  2. Select 'Manage' under Lyft Cash
  3. Select the inline ‘Auto refill’ card
  4. Choose your auto refill amount
  5. Pay for your eligible rides with Lyft Cash
  6. Save and start earning with Lyft Cash Rewards
Lyft Cash will be set as your default payment method. If you choose a different payment method, you won't be eligible for Lyft Cash Rewards until you switch back to Lyft Cash.
Lyft Cash back earned from the program can be set to automatically apply to your next ride, or saved and applied when you choose.
Keep in mind, earned Lyft Cash back expires exactly 60 days from the time it is earned. You can see all your earned Lyft Cash back by navigating to the Payment section of the Lyft app.
How to cancel
To disable or cancel your Lyft Cash Rewards:
  1. Go to the ‘Payment’ section of your Lyft app
  2. Select “Manage” under Lyft Cash
  3. Under Lyft Cash, tap 'Auto Refill'.
  4. Select ‘Lyft Cash Rewards details and settings’
  5. Select ‘Turn off auto refill’
  6. Select ‘Turn auto refill off’
You'll receive a warning confirming you have opted-out from the program.
You will be able to opt back in at any time without charge, so long as you re-enter at the same or lower level. If you choose to re-enroll at a higher level, you will be charged the full refill amount for that level.
Managing your earned Lyft Cash back
Earned Lyft Cash back gives you the flexibility to choose when you want to use it. You can set it to automatically apply to your next ride, or accumulate it for a future ride
Note: Earned Lyft Cash back expires 60 days after the date it was earned. Once expired, it cannot be restored.
To enable/disable auto apply:
  1. Open the side menu and select “Payment”.
  2. Tap “Manage” under the Lyft Cash section.
  3. Choose “Rewards settings”.
  4. Look for the option: “Auto apply Lyft Cash back to rides”.
  5. Toggle the setting ON or OFF according to your preference.
