Creating a Concierge program

If your organization is managing multiple locations that will be using Concierge, you can easily create new programs for each location with its own set of coordinators.
In this article, learn more about:
What are Concierge programs?
A “program” is how we refer to a subset underneath a parent organization using Concierge. For example, a car company could have many dealerships at various locations, making them “programs.”
Programs each have separate Concierge dashboards, reporting and coordinators. Companies set up programs when they want each part of the organization to have separate reporting and/or coordinators per location.
Coordinators
You can invite different groups of coordinators to each of your programs. Those coordinators will only have access to the programs they’ve been invited to. Each program has its own Concierge dashboard with its own ride history.
Billing
All rides are billed to the parent organization. Concierge currently does not support individual billing per program.
Reporting
Reports are automatically sent at the end of each month to each program administrator. You can specify where these reports are delivered in the Edit Program page in your Lyft Business Portal.
How to create a new program in Concierge
  1. Select 'Concierge' on the left-hand navigation bar
  2. You will now be able to see the list of available Concierge programs. To create a new program, select 'Programs (+)' in the upper right-hand corner
  3. Customize your new program by giving it a name and avatar color
  4. Select your billing frequency, monthly or per-ride, and payment method for the program
  5. Select the drop down under 'Add invoice group' to select from an existing invoice group
    • Invoice groups allow you to control where your invoices are sent and to consolidate invoicing if you have multiple transportation programs. If you haven't yet set up an invoiced group yet, learn how here
  6. Fill out any additional optional settings, including if you'd like to allow your coordinators to add tips to rides or whether you’d like to set any ride limits, and select 'Save and continue'
  7. Invite the coordinators that will be sending Lyft rides on behalf of your organization to this new Concierge program. There’s no limit to how many coordinators you can invite. If you have a large team, you can upload a CSV to make this step faster.
  8. Select 'Save' and this new program can begin sending rides!
Setting ride limits for your program
When creating or editing a Concierge program, you can set per-ride budget limits and mileage limits to help manage costs and prevent unauthorized ride usage. These settings are optional and can be updated at any time.
Budget limit: Set a maximum dollar amount per ride. Coordinators will be notified if a ride's estimated fare exceeds this limit. Budget limits apply to on-demand and scheduled rides. Tips are not included in the limit calculation.
Mileage limit: Set a maximum distance per ride, calculated by estimated route. Mileage limits apply to on-demand, scheduled, and flex rides.
Enforcement options For each limit type, choose how it's enforced:
  • Block: Coordinators are blocked from creating rides that exceed the limit. They'll see an error message specifying which limit was exceeded and the configured limit, and will need to adjust the ride or contact you to update the setting.
  • Warn: Coordinators see a warning if a ride exceeds the limit but can proceed with creating the ride. Use this option if you want visibility into overages without blocking ride creation.
You can enable a budget limit, a mileage limit, or both at the same time. Limit settings take effect immediately after saving and apply to all new ride requests in that program.
To configure ride limits, go to Program Settings > Ride Restrictions in your Lyft Business Portal.
