Pet rides for riders
Pet rides is a ride mode where you can bring along your pet for an additional fee, which goes directly to the driver.
You can request a Pet ride by selecting the Pet ride option in the Lyft app. This option fits up to four people and one well-behaved animal. Pet rides are only available in the U.S. at this time.
As a courtesy to other riders, pets should ride in a carrier, on a blanket, or at your feet.
Note: Drivers are required by law and Lyft’s policy to accommodate passengers with service animals even if you don’t request a Pet ride.
