Getting the EV bonus
Once your EV is added to your account, you can earn a bonus by giving 50 rides with your EV in a week. If you added a qualifying electric vehicle (EV) to the Lyft platform by December 31, 2023, then you will remain eligible to earn a $150 bonus in a week until you reach the $8100 maximum. If you reach the $8100 maximum, you will be eligible to earn the $80 bonus. If you added a qualifying electric vehicle (EV) to the Lyft platform after December 31, 2023 you will be eligible to earn an $100 bonus in a week.
Eligible hours for earnings are:
- Monday 5 AM to the following Monday 4:59 AM
Ride count and bonuses will reset every Monday at 5 AM.
Each week, every completed ride with a pickup in your approved market or within your region in Canada using a qualifying EV counts toward the 50 ride requirement. The bonus will be available in your earnings one hour after you have completed 50 rides.
Note: The bonus can only be earned once per week. If you give more than 50 rides in a week, the extra rides don’t roll over into the following week.
Tracking your EV bonus
You’ll receive an email every week letting you know that your EV bonus will be available to you during the following week.
As you make progress toward the 50 ride requirement, you’ll be able to track your bonus from the Driver app home screen.
To track your progress, tap ‘$150 EV Bonus’, ‘$100 EV Bonus’, or ‘$80 EV Bonus’ on the home screen.
