What are Lyft Business Rewards?
With the Lyft Business Rewards program, riders earn Lyft Cash and travel partner benefits on most business profile rides:
- 6-8% Lyft Cash on business profile rides (8% for airport, scheduled, and premium ride modes)
- Earn 6 Hilton Honors™ Points or 4-6 Atmos™ Reward (Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines) points per $1 spent on business profile rides, double what you'd earn on personal rides
- Earn 2-4 United® MileagePlus® miles per $1 spent on business profile rides
- No monthly fees, subscriptions, or minimum spend requirements
How do I sign up for Lyft Business Rewards?
To sign up for Lyft Business Rewards, you need a business profile linked to a participating organization’s business travel program or to an invitation from Lyft.
How do I earn Lyft Business Rewards?
You must take a qualifying ride using a business profile linked to a participating organization or to an invitation from Lyft, not using a personal profile or a self-managed business profile
- Rides must be completed successfully with payment processed in order to earn rewards
- Rides must be completed entirely within the United States
Note: Rewards cannot be earned on Wait & Save rides, shared rides, bikes, or scooters. Rides excluded from rewards under the Lyft Business Rewards program still may earn travel partner rewards.
What rewards can I earn?
Riders can earn Lyft Cash back and extra travel rewards on each qualifying business profile ride.
What is Lyft Cash?
Lyft Cash earned from Lyft Business Rewards:
- Can be redeemed on Lyft rides, bikes, and scooters
- Can be redeemed for both personal and business rides
- Expires exactly 60 days from the date earned
- Eligibility: Available to riders with business profiles linked to participating organizations or to an invitation from Lyft
- Earning: Promotional Lyft Cash will accrue based on the dollar amount spent on Qualifying Rides, excluding taxes, fees, tips, and Lyft Up donations
- Expiration: Lyft Cash expires after exactly 60 days from the date earned
- Travel partners: You can link one travel partner account (Atmos Rewards, Hilton Honors, or United® MileagePlus®)
- Program changes: Subject to modification, cancellation, or limitation at Lyft's discretion
What partner rewards can I earn?
Link to one of our travel partners to earn more travel rewards than can be earned on personal rides.
- Hilton Honors: Earn 6 Points per $1 spent on most business rides – double what personal trips earn.
- Atmos Rewards: Earn 4-6 points per $1 spent on most business rides, instead of the usual 2-3 on personal rides.
- United® MileagePlus®: Earn 2 miles per $1 spent on Standard, Priority Pick-up, XL, Pet, Wheelchair, and Green rides (double what personal standard rides earn). Business travelers are also eligible for 3 miles per $1 spent on Extra Comfort, Black, Black SUV, and on-demand airport rides, as well as 4 miles per $1 spent on scheduled airport rides.
How do riders start earning?
- Link a business profile account to a participating organization or an invitation from Lyft. One way to link your account is to accept your business profile invitation from your organization (sent via email)
- Complete the business profile setup in the Lyft app
- Link one travel partner account (optional) on the Rewards tab of your Lyft app to earn travel partner rewards
- Take rides using your linked business profile - make sure you're selected business mode when requesting rides
Rewards are automatically tracked and can be viewed in the "Rewards" tab of your app.
How to check your rewards status
Check your rewards status in the Lyft app:
- Open the Lyft app
- Tap the 'You' tab on the bottom right of your screen
- Select 'Rewards'
- Ensure you are on the ‘Business’ tab to see:
- Total available Lyft Cash from business rewards
- Total Lyft Cash lifetime earnings
- Lyft Cash expiring soon
- Linked travel partner accounts (only one travel partner at a time can earn Lyft Business Rewards)
FAQs
Is there a fee or subscription to participate in the Lyft Business Rewards program? No, there is no fee or subscription for Lyft Business Rewards. The program is free, and there is no qualifying spend to unlock rewards.
Do my rewards expire? Yes, Lyft Cash expires after exactly 60 days from the date earned. Check the Rewards tab in your app to see expiration dates and amounts. Points or miles earned under the Lyft Business Rewards program are subject to the terms for the applicable travel partner: Hilton Honors, Atmos Rewards, or United® MileagePlus®.
What if I take a ride in the wrong profile? Rewards are only earned when riding in your eligible linked business profile. If you take a business trip in personal mode, an eligible but unlinked business profile, or a self-managed business profile, you won't earn rewards for that ride.
Can I switch a ride from personal to business after it's completed? Profile changes must be made before requesting the ride. Post-ride profile changes don't affect rewards eligibility.
How do I link my travel partner accounts? Go to the Rewards section in your app and select the partner account you want to link (Atmos Rewards, Hilton Honors, or United® MileagePlus®). You can only link one travel partner at a time.
Is this the same as Lyft Pink? No, Lyft Business Rewards is a separate program from Lyft Pink, designed specifically for business travelers with no subscription.
What if I'm removed from my organization's business travel program? You'll no longer earn new rewards. Previously earned rewards may expire or remain accessible depending on the specific reward type and partner terms. Contact Lyft Business support for details about your specific rewards.
