How does occupational accident insurance differ from the rideshare auto liability insurance Lyft provides while I’m online?
The auto liability insurance policy covers third party bodily injury and property damage for covered accidents if your personal insurance does not apply.  The auto liability policy may not cover benefits available to you under occupational accident insurance such as medical expenses and disability payments that result from a covered accident.

How do I report a claim?

If your injury resulted from any other incident, please contact Lyft Safety to report the incident. In both cases, our teams will collect details on the incident and work with our insurance provider to set up a claim.
I was logged into another app at the time of the accident. Am I still eligible for coverage?
You may be eligible for coverage under the occupational accident insurance if you are available to accept requests on several network company platforms at the same time, as long as you are logged into the Lyft app.
However, you are not eligible for occupational accident insurance benefits if you are online on the Lyft app and have accepted a ride request from another network company.
In this scenario, there may be occupational accident insurance benefits available from the other network companies.
