Fees at stops
You can add a stop before or during a Lyft ride.
A fee is charged 30 seconds after your arrival at your stop. While a driver can wait longer than 5 minutes, they have the option to cancel your ride once those 5 minutes have passed.
If you need more than 5 minutes at your stop, make plans with your driver ahead of time.
When you plan for a stop, you can see the rate before requesting the ride. There will be a stop-per-minute rate displayed in the pricing details screen in your Lyft app, next to the ride type selected.
After your ride, the fee for your stop is added to your upfront price.
After your ride, you can find details about your stop fee in your ride receipt.
Note: The waiver for disability also applies to waypoints. We exempt WAV and Car Seat modes.
