    COVID-19 information

The health and safety of the Lyft community is our top priority. We want to make sure Lyft drivers and riders know the best ways to help protect themselves and others when driving on the Lyft platform.
We recommend following the guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):
    • Don’t ride if you have COVID-19, think you have it, or have related symptoms
    • Wear a mask the entire ride
    • Use hand sanitizer
    • Turn off recirculated air, and keep windows down when possible
    • Leave the front passenger seat open
Refer to these resources below for more info on COVID-19.

Local regulations (updated June 2, 2021)

Santa Clara County’s directive requires all drivers who are not fully vaccinated to (1) comply with all applicable provisions of the Mandatory Directive on Use of Face Coverings, and (2) comply with all applicable provisions of the Health Officer’s Mandatory Directive on Unvaccinated Personnel.
Please continue to wear a mask, even if you’ve been vaccinated. If you test positive for COVID-19, please report your status through the Lyft Driver app Help center.
