How to Request a Ride Review or Price Review

If you're unhappy with your ride, we're unhappy. If you experience an issue with one of the following, please request a ride review: 

  • Discount/credit didn't apply
  • Wrong pickup/dropoff location 
  • Inefficient route 
  • Cancellation or no-show fee 
  • An unexpected charge

When you request a ride review, we'll investigate the ride in question to ensure the price is accurate and to learn how we can make the Lyft platform better. 

The three ways to request a ride or price review are detailed below.

1. Use the in-app ride history

The fastest way to request a ride or price review is through your in-app ride history:

  1. Open your Lyft app 
  2. Tap your photo in the top left corner 
  3. Tap 'Ride History'
  4. Tap the ride you have a question about 
  5. Scroll to the bottom of that screen and tap 'Get Help' (or 'Request Review' for Android)
  6. From there, you'll be able to tell us about your specific issue and request a ride or price review 

2. Use your ride receipt

The second way to request a ride or price review is through your ride receipt. After each ride, we email your receipt to you (after you rate your driver and pay, or 16 hours after your ride ended — whichever comes first).

  1. Locate your ride receipt in your email inbox (Hint: We send it to your email listed under 'Settings' in the app)
  2. Open the ride receipt, scroll to the bottom, and click the 'Request Review' link at the bottom of the receipt
  3. From there, you'll be able to tell us about your specific issue and request a ride or price review 

3. Use our help center

The last way to request a ride or price review is to use the Contact Us button below. Include the following information in your message:

  1. Time and date of the ride.
  2. Name of the driver.
  3. A brief description of what occurred.
